Global Youth Leadership Institute delivers transformative educational programs that foster global pluralism, collaborative leadership, and environmental care and that help students and teachers become fully engaged citizens of the world.

GYLI fosters an exploration of complex underlying issues in an open and honest dialogue where students and adults are co-learners
GYLI Programs and Institutes
All GYLI programs are experiential, hands-on, and transformative. We immerse all participants—both students and adult—into experiences of pluralism based on religion, class, gender, age, cultural background, sexual orientation, and ability. Students and faculty then develop and revise their leader learning plans, plans that will be implemented in their home schools during the following school year. We know that if you look around you will not find a more ambitious, economical, and rewarding program.
GYLI offers dynamic programs for students and teachers on the topics of global pluralism and diversity, Native American traditions, environmental awareness, school community partnerships, and the inner calls of teaching and learning for the following audiences:

- that leaders need to be skilled at dialogue, listening, and collaboration
- that faith tradition is an essential facet of global diversity and can be discussed in a secular context
- that personal identity, group interaction, and care for the environment are closely related human issues
- that local problems inform the understanding of global dilemmas
