Marin Country Day School Pine Point School

Pine Point School and Marin Country Day School both offer a great facility for learning about the environment, with green buildings, ability to utilize renewable energy sources and access to large areas of underdeveloped land.
Year 1
Boston, MA, Mystic, CT, Milwaukee, WI and Martha's Vineyard, CA

Students and teachers will gather from around the country and learn how to sail a tall ship, participate in workshops and conversations about race, culture, religion and conflict resolution. You will learn the stories of the Freedom Schooner Amistad or the Schooner Denis Sullivan, which are living pieces of history that teach use lessons of collaboration across differences, perseverance through diversity and care for the environment.
Year 2
Lama Foundation in Northern New Mexico

Lama Foundation is an off-the-grid sanctuary at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, where participants learn lessons of self-sufficiency, permaculture and interdependence. The cap to this experience is the pyhsical challenge of climbing Flag Mountain.
Year 3
United World College-Costa Rica

United World College-Costa Rica is an international secondary school with three pillars: multiculturalism, environment, and peace. The mission of this university is to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
EARTH University-Costa Rica

A world-renowned leader in education for sustainable agriculture and social development located in Limon Province. Participants in Year 3- Costa Rica will live with and learn from local farmers around EARTH University, as well as from students and faculty at the university itself.
Mahindra United World College-India

An international school built for cultural and environmental understanding. The site is equipped with green buildings, a biodiversity reserve, and situated near a hydroelectric dam. Home stays in the city of Pune immerse participants in the local culture.
